So I whipped this pretty little skirt up this summer, along with two others ...I was too lazy to model. This skirt is very beginner friendly and flattering for all shapes. The fabric used was a scuba knit I got from Fabric.com. I plan to make the sweatshirt and pants options for cold fall nights soon. The pattern as a whole is a great wardrobe builder. Don't sew? No worries, request to have one custom made!

1. Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes

2. Were the instructions easy to follow? Very easy, finished in less than two hours.

3. What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I loved everything about this pattern besides the sizing. It runs extremely big, I cut the small and still had to remove at least three inches of ease.

4. Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Absolutely, plan on sewing more versions, great for using as a Sloper once you get the sizing just right. I would recommend it.

That's all folks!

I'm back! News...

Hey everyone! So sorry for my very very long hiatus from this site. I did not abandon it but simply needed time to actually figure out what direction I wanted to go with regarding my business and blogging. Honestly? I still have no clue but simply an idea . That is good enough for me, as of right now. That being said, expect great things to come in the next few months.

I have plans to turn things around completely, starting with trying to release my very first sewing pattern. The patterns will be PDF only.

I am also working on a ready to wear line to go along with the patterns for those who do not sew. Yay!

Fur? Yes Please!

I have seen fur all over the runway and social media  this season and have finally decided to join the bandwagon. My favorite is the Fuax Fur Snood. It is extremely Glam and casual all in one.  It can be worn with your favorite pair of tennis shoes and a hoodie, or a nice pair of skinny jeans and a classic cape coat, the option are limit-less.

Here are a few looks  I've found across the internet and loved. from my fellow bloggers that are real people wearing the snood in real ways.

cute, no? lol

Newly listed in the shop is my take on this awesome trend that I am sure will be around all through winter and maybe into the spring.
